At the national assembly of the Mexican Association of Mold and Die Manufacturers (AMMMT), Mr. Jorge Ayala was appointed president of the association for the next three years. With a distinguished career in the industry, He assumes this position with the commitment to strengthening the sector and promoting its development nationally and internationally.
Fundamental axes for management
During his appointment, Engineer Jorge Ayala presented the main pillars that will define his administration:
1. Addressing the impact of Asian imports:
Analyze and propose strategies to strengthen the competitiveness of domestic manufacturers in the face of the growing presence of imported products.
2. Increase the number of members:
Expand the network of companies and professionals within the AMMMT to strengthen the sector's representation.
3. Promote training and professionalization:
Promote training and certification programs that enhance the technical and operational level of the industry.
At the meeting, the Association also expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Engineer Juan Benavente for his leadership and achievements during his tenure.
Mr. Jorge Ayala will be joined on the new board of directors by Juan Carlos Arias as vice president; Abelardo Pérez as secretary; Sergio Calderón as treasurer; Eduardo Medrano as director of foreign trade; Andrea Alarcón as director of institutional relations; and Emilio Valdez as director of foreign relations.
With the arrival of Mr. Jorge Ayala as president, the AMMMT begins a new phase of growth for the mold and die industry in Mexico. The implementation of strategies focused on competitiveness, the growth of the member community, and the professionalization of the sector will be essential to face the challenges and seize the opportunities in the coming years.
