To solve our tool clamping needs, at Maquinados Industriales Ayala we used hydraulic systems. Initially, they work very well, but gradually lose clamping force and vibrate, resulting in inaccuracies and shortened workpiece life. This translates into wasted time, money, and effort.
Searching for solutions in various clamping techniques, we found Haimer, who provided us with excellent advice on thermal systems. These systems have superior clamping force than hydraulic systems.
The clamps in thermal systems are slimmer and have shorter diameters, which helps us work in deeper spaces with shorter tools. Obviously, a shorter tool is more economical and vibrates less, which increases tool precision and durability.
